Crispin Blunt, the MP for Reigate since 1997, has been a key supporter of the Community Fund for Reigate and Banstead since its inception. As an MP, he has focussed heavily on protecting the green belt, upholding human rights across the world, and campaigning on drug policy reform.
Nicholas Owen has been a Presenter with BBC and ITV News and hosted regular shows on Classic FM. He’s also appeared in many other TV and radio programmes, chairs many corporate and charity events, and gives talks and lectures at home and abroad. He began his journalism on the Surrey Mirror in the 1960s. He went on to national newspapers, including the Financial Times, before starting in broadcasting in the early 1980s. Between 1994 and 2000 he was ITN's Royal Correspondent. He played a major part in covering the death and funeral of Diana, Princess of Wales. He lives in Reigate.
Adam Lehodey is a local activist and resident. As a former member and chairman of the Reigate and Banstead Youth Council, he delivered a speech to over 1000 people for the 100 year Great War Remembrance service. He also fundraised for Surrey Drug and Alcohol Care, and the charity 'Rape Crisis Surrey and Sussex.' He stood as a County Council candidate in the 2021 election.
